I offer en plein air painting workshops held in beautiful locations in the heart of nature. Together we will paint side-by-side, study light, and learn about timeless compositional principles and painting technique.

These classes are the perfect opportunity to get feedback on your work while you are painting and to see first hand how I work from life. There is no better way to learn than painting together surrounded by the beauty and harmony of nature.

I am currently offering private lessons. This is a great way to develop your painting practice by spending in depth one-on-one time together. During your private lessons we can work on any aspect of your painting practice that you would like. I can demonstrate my painting techniques with different subject matter. We can look at your paintings and I can offer critique and guidance. You can ask me anything you like about materials, techniques, and process. This is time devoted to you, to enhancing your artwork, and to your experience of doing what you love.

Private lessons are 3-4 hours of highly focused time working together. Private lessons are typically conducted in person at my home studio or in nature on location. Alternatively we may meet at your studio or over zoom.

The cost for a private lesson is $333 per session.
